Your Neck Pain Questions, Answered
Why is MVMT a cash-based clinic instead of taking insurance?
We've chosen not to participate in insurance networks so we can deliver the quality of care we believe is most effective. This means no insurance company dictating how many sessions you get, how long they last, or what treatments we can provide. You'll get a full hour one-on-one with your clinician every visit. Many clients find our cash-based model is actually less expensive than traditional insurance-based PT when you factor in co-pays, deductibles, and the number of visits required. We can also provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement if your insurance offers that benefit.
How long are treatment sessions and how many will I need?
Each session is a full hour of one-on-one time with your clinician—no sharing time with other patients. Most clients see us once per week for an average of 8 sessions during their rehab plan of care. However, every person is different, and we'll create a personalized timeline based on your specific condition, goals, and progress. Many of our patients notice improvement after their very first visit and experience complete pain relief in one-third the time of traditional PT clinics.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation where your clinician will discuss your neck pain history, assess your movement patterns, identify the root cause of your pain, and create a personalized treatment plan. We'll spend time understanding your goals, lifestyle, and what activities you want to return to. You'll leave with a clear understanding of what's causing your pain and the roadmap to fix it. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring any relevant medical records or imaging if you have them.
