From the initial phone call consultation I knew this physical therapy office was going to be THE place that was going to get me back to feeling like me. MVMT doesn't waste time and addresses exactly what you are there for and are very thorough to find the root cause. I found relief in a shorter amount of time than the traditional insurance-based PT. I've had the pleasure of having Tia as my PT. She is extremely knowledgeable, meets you where you're at, hilarious, and really takes the time to get to know you on a personal level.

I was experiencing a recurring pain in my hip/glute that was preventing me from golfing and even from standing for any length of time. Tia was recommended by an exercise instructor and she determined it was a muscular issue. Over a period of several visits she was able to recommend some exercises that has made a remarkable improvement. Highly recommend!!!

I came to MVMT as a washed up athlete trying to get back into shape. I had aches and pains that I thought were just a part of life for me now that I'm in my 30s. I have been working with MVMT for a few months now and they have blown me away with their knowledge, perseverance, and support. I've never met more knowledgeable people when it comes to movement and injuries. This excellence extends from the owners (Trevor and Erica) and works its way through every staff member.

Your Neck Pain Questions, Answered

Why is MVMT a cash-based clinic instead of taking insurance?

We've chosen not to participate in insurance networks so we can deliver the quality of care we believe is most effective. This means no insurance company dictating how many sessions you get, how long they last, or what treatments we can provide. You'll get a full hour one-on-one with your clinician every visit. Many clients find our cash-based model is actually less expensive than traditional insurance-based PT when you factor in co-pays, deductibles, and the number of visits required. We can also provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement if your insurance offers that benefit.

How long are treatment sessions and how many will I need?

Each session is a full hour of one-on-one time with your clinician—no sharing time with other patients. Most clients see us once per week for an average of 8 sessions during their rehab plan of care. However, every person is different, and we'll create a personalized timeline based on your specific condition, goals, and progress. Many of our patients notice improvement after their very first visit and experience complete pain relief in one-third the time of traditional PT clinics.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation where your clinician will discuss your neck pain history, assess your movement patterns, identify the root cause of your pain, and create a personalized treatment plan. We'll spend time understanding your goals, lifestyle, and what activities you want to return to. You'll leave with a clear understanding of what's causing your pain and the roadmap to fix it. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring any relevant medical records or imaging if you have them.
